These have been very popular since I started them in 2006. As an experienced primary & secondary teacher, and also running an adult arts community group at church for many years, I have been able to combine my teaching and ceramic skills to make throwing pottery accessible. I have taught from 4 years to 80 years and every person has been thrilled and surprised at what they could achieve.
I have two wheels so can teach two throwing, a third person could also come taking turns on some hand building.
Prices include all materials, firing & glazing and a vegetarian lunch with other refreshments.
Finished pots can be posted on to you after they have been glazed and fired.
A full day is from 9am-5pm, contact me to check availability. Shorter sessions can also be arranged.
Full day cost: £160 for one person and each extra person is then £80 each
